Bill Whitelaw
Bill Whitelaw is a senior energy executive and non-profit governance leader with more than 30 years of experience building and running mission-driven, multi-sector organizations across Canada’s energy, mining, agriculture, and cleantech ecosystems.
He has held P&L responsibility as President, CEO, and Managing Director of distributed teams and complex, acquisition-grown portfolios exceeding $300 million. His leadership experience is matched by an extensive record as a non-profit director, chair, and fellow across industry associations, innovation labs, and education-focused charities.
Bill is a skilled convener who builds trust and revenue-generating partnerships across government, industry, investors, and community stakeholders. A recognized national voice on innovation, sustainability, and the energy transition, he helps organizations balance mission impact with financial sustainability in public and politically nuanced environments.
